Ola, welcome to the fantastic game of Spanish blackjack. As in the traditional game of blackjack, this version is played on a Blackjack table, using 8 decks of 48 cards (the standard 52 card deck with the 10 spot cards removed).

 

The dealer gets a hole card and has to hit and stand on a soft 17. Spanish Blackjack pays out 3:2 and always wins even if the dealer has blackjack. Standing, hitting and splitting follow the same rules as Blackjack and Doubling after splitting is also allowed.

 

When the 1st 2 hands are dealt the dealer peeks at the hole card to check for blackjack before the play continues to bet, giving you the advantage. If the dealer has blackjack all the players automatically lose, unless they also have Blackjack in which case they will beat the dealers blackjack. Great! Play now and win.
